The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that graduate student Elaine Ng, violist of the UMKC Conservatory Graduate Fellowship String Quartet, who studies with Scott Lee, was a violist (one out of only 4 violists selected) in a privileged program at the Fontainebleau School for Music and Arts (Écoles d’Art Américaine de Fontainebleau, Paris, France) with full scholarships and full compensation, Summer 2019.
She also performed with a string quartet, which had won the Maurice Ravel Prix du Château de Fontainebleau 2019, a quartet competition organized by Fondation Maurice Ravel.
Congratulations, Elaine!
