Ted King-Smith's (Composition, DMA, 2017) work Between Glimpses of Blue for Wind Ensemble and fixed media is a finalist for the William D. Revelli Composition Contest. This composition was Dr. King-Smith's dissertation, and was premiered and recorded by the UMKC Conservatory Wind Ensemble. Ted is an adjunct instructor at Kansas City Kansas Community College and an adjunct professor at Johnson County Community College.
