Composition faculty Chen Yi's Music Featured on New PRISM Quartet Release, performed with the Conservatory Wind Symphony

The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to announce that three Conservatory faculty have collaborated on a new release by PRISM Quartet, whose alto sax member is Assistant Professor of Saxophone Zachary Shemon.  Lorena Searcy Cravens/ Millsap/ Missouri Distinguished Professor of Composition  Chen Yi's Ba Yin (The Eight Sounds), 2001/2015) is performed by the Conservatory Wind Symphony, conducted by Rose Ann Carr Millsap Missouri Distinguished Professor of Music/Director of Bands and Wind Ensembles  Steven D. Davis
