Michael McClintock (BM, guitar performance, 2006) who is a member of the Kansas City-based group Cubanisms received support from UNESCO for participation in the Jazz Plaza International Festival in Havana, Cuba, January, 2019. Kansas City was designated as a City of Music, UNESCO Creative City in 2017.
