The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that Jiyoun Chung (DMA, composition, 2019) has been selected as one of the composers of 2019 American Composers Orchestra Earshot and invited to Mexico, August, 2020 for her composition Scissors.
"American Composers Orchestra seeks to identify and celebrate emerging American composers through its EarShot program. Drawing from a national network of advisors and advocates, EarShot works with orchestras around the country to identify and support promising composers in the early stages of their careers."
