UMKC Conservatory Welcomes Adam Boyles

The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to welcome Adam Boyles as Visiting Assistant Professor of Music and Co-Director of Orchestras, Fall, 2019. 

Dr. Boyles is currently the Director of Orchestras at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Assistant Conductor of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and Music Director Emeritus of the Brookline Symphony Orchestra.  He has recently conducted the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra, On Site Opera (NYC), and high school honor orchestras in many states. Previous directorships include the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, Opera in the Ozarks, and MetroWest Opera, as well as guest faculty positions at The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Arizona. As a singer, Dr. Boyles has performed with Arizona Opera, Indiana University Opera Theatre, Conspirare, True Concord, and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus.
