The UMKC Conservatory congratulates composition students Yintong Liu and Lan Shi for winning the 2019 UMKC Chamber Music Composition Competition. Yintong Liu took first prize for Memorial II for violin and piano and Lan Shi won second prize for Impression of Tongzhou Island for violin and pipa.
These two pieces were performed on the March 21, 2019 Musica Nova concert in White Recital Hall.
