Conservatory DMA piano student YiQiao Gao, who studies with Thomas Rosenkranz, Associate Professor of Piano and Keyboard Area Coordinator, has been awarded First Prize at the MTNA Young Artist Competition for the State of Missouri, held November 6, 2019, in Springfield, Missouri. As the winner, she will continue to the next round of this competition representing the state of Missouri in the West Central Division.
