The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that music education student Jacob Furry has been chosen by Conservatory faculty to receive the Presser Foundation Undergraduate Scholar Award for the 2020–2021 academic year, his senior year. As recipient of this prestigious award, Jacob receives $4,000 to be used at his discretion; it may be applied toward tuition, housing costs and other expenses normally incurred in pursuit of a degree, or for musical advancement opportunities not normally provided in a university or conservatory setting.
Jacob was selected based on his academic and musical achievements at UMKC during the first three years of study.
