The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that dance alum Matt Carney (BFA, dance, 2008) has been named executive director of the San Diego Ballet. Matt joined the San Diego Ballet as a dancer is 2009 and had several roles as director of communication and producing director as well. In addition to his BFA from the UMKC Conservatory, Matt has a Master's in Public Administration from SDSU's School of Public Affairs.
