The UMKC Conservatory is proud to note that Philip Edelman (IPhD, 2016) has been named the Maine Music Educators Association's Music Educator of the Year, 2020, along with Caitlin Ramsey. Dr. Edelman is Assistant Professor of Music Education at University of Maine, Orono, where he has been teaching since 2016. Edelman is also director of the UMaine Concert Band.
