The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that alum Dr. Jiyoun Chung (DMA composition, 2019) won the Repertoire Prize with her Scissors. Fantasia Toccata for piano solo for the Musica Prospettiva 2020–21 International Call For Scores Competition in Torrita di Siena, Italy.
400 scores from 323 composers were submitted to the competition. There will be a performance and live recording of her composition.
