Conservatory musicology faculty William Everett and Alison DeSimone are working with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City for its new digital programming Opera in Eight Parts.
Vocal alumni Scott Conner, Kelly Morel, Michael Wu and student Kelli Van Meter are featured in the series.
The series of eight episodes guides viewers through the history and development of the operatic art form from its origins in the 1600s to present day and includes musicology faculty from the University of Kansas.
