Congratulations to piano student Zheyu (Crystal) Jiang who has won First Prize at the Wideman International Piano Competition. Crystal, who studies with Alon Goldstein, will perform with the Shreveport Symphony, Arkansas Symphony, and have solo recitals in Salon de Virtuosi in New York, the Myra Hess series in Chicago, and the Tutunov piano series in Oregon.
Crystal competed with 30 international participants, from schools including Juilliard, Rice, New England Conservatory, and Peabody, to name a few.
