The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that Thomas Rosenkranz, Coordinator of the Keyboard Area and Associate Professor, was recently elected as a Tholen Fellowship Master Teacher.
Conducted though nomination for teaching excellence and innovation, Professor Rosenkranz was selected to begin his tenure as a guest professor through Portland Piano International, January 2021.
This initiative “offers piano teachers on the Central Coast and Southern Oregon a potentially transformative professional development experience—the opportunity to study with a renowned concert pianist and teacher.”
Professor Rosenkranz joins other notable faculty from the Peabody Conservatory and Lawrence University in this appointment.
