The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that wind conducting DMA student and graduate assistant Mark Bonner, Jr has been selected for the Cleveland Institute of Music's prestigious Future of Music Faculty Fellowship. Mark is one of 35 students selected. This is a career initiative engaging 35 Black and Latinx music professionals who are pursuing or considering acadmic careers. The program preparers them with skills, insights and networks to flourish professionally and influence generations of musicians.
