Mezzo-soprano Alice Chung (Artist's Certificate, 2018) has taken first prize in the 2021 Sullivan Foundation Audition. She is one of the 5 winners across the country.
Sullivan Foundation Audition is one of the most prestigious awards for early-career opera singers. This award has been instrumental in launching the careers of prominent singers including Jessye Norman, Kathleen Battle, Renée Fleming, Lisette Oropesa and Anthony Roth Constanzo, to name a few.
Alice performed in several operas during her time at the UMKC Conservatory.
