Alum Bryan Pinkall Named Director of Kansas State University's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance

Bryan Pinkall (DMA, vocal performance, 2013) has been named Director of Kansas State University's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Music.

Dr. Pinkall was part of the organizing committee for the opening ceremony of the XXII Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. He joined a team of 5,000 performers, artists and organizers to produce the opening ceremony production. He also worked on the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since graduating from the Conservatory, Pinkall has continued as a professional singer in the Kansas City Chorale and other Kansas City ensembles, including the Simon Carrington Chamber Singers and Te Deum Antiqua.
