UMKC Conservatory alum Kevin Cerovich (BM, trombone performance, jazz, 2008) who is a member of the United States Air Force, and trombonist with Airmen of Note, stood in for President Joe Biden at the Department of Defense rehearsal of the inauguration, including being sworn in at the Capitol, and laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Kevin studied with JoDee Davis.
