Jiaqi Wang, MM student and alum (DMA, 2008) has won the 2023 Missouri Composer's Project, under the auspices of the University of Missouri. Wang's work The Call of Life, entered in the Open Orchestral section, will be performed by the Columbia Civic Orchestra, April 16, 2023, at the First Baptist Church, 1112 E. Broadway in Columbia, MO.
