The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that Martha Gabel (BME, choral, 1985) has been named president-elect of the Southwestern Division of the National Association for Music Education for 2021–2023. Gabel has been a music educator for 33 years and is currently the District Fine Arts Coordinator for the Olathe, KS school district. Read an interview here.
