Conservatory alum John Wardlaw, MM, saxophone performance, 2020) has won a position with the U.S. Navy Fleet Band. John studied with the Conservatory's Zachary Shemon and Adam Larson. He is currently pursuing a DMA in Memphis, TN. He was a semi finalist in the 2020 North American Saxophone Alliance Collegiate Quartet Competition and has presented multiple recitals at NASA conferences. He was a finalist in the 2017 Baylor University (he is an alum) Concerto Competition as well.
