The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that Frank Oakley III (B.A. theatre performance, 2014) will appear in Amazon Prime Video's The Underground Railroad, a series based on Colson Whitehead's Pulitzer Prize-winning book by the same name. The series is directed by Barry Jenkins and Oakley appears in episode 2. The series premieres on Amazon Prime Video May 14, 2021.
Oakley also recently appeared in the hit Netflix series Sweet Magnolias.
