The UMKC Conservatory is pleased to note that Latin Grammy winner Andrés Salguero (GRCT, education, ’11; DMA, clarinet performance ’11) has been nominated for the 2022 Grammy for Best Children's Album Actívate. He performs as 123 Andrés with his wife and collaborator, Christina Sanabria.
Sandbox Percussion, the Conservatory's Ensemble in Residence is nominated for the 2022 Grammy for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance. Sandbox's members are Ian Rosenbaum, Jonny Allen, Terry Sweeney, and Victor Caccese.
