Kansas City's Charlotte Street Foundation has annouced the recipients of the Inaugural Cultural Producer Grants for 2021. Victoria Botero's The Cecilia Project has been awarded $5,000. According to the Charlotte Street press release, The Cecilia Project is a unique series that brings musicology-informed concerts to the Kansas City community by exploring the intersectionality of art music and present issues facing women and people of color.
Botero received an MA, music, 2009 and an MM, musicology in 2011.
