Group classes

There are several non-credit group classes available for just $15 per class. Kids ages 0-13 may take Academy kids classes. There are also classes for teen and adult beginners. All classes meet once a week at a predetermined time. Most group classes are 14- or 16-week sessions during the Fall and Spring Semesters, with eight-week sessions during the Summer.

Auditions are not required for lessons and most classes. Lessons cannot be paid for using UMKC tuition fees, and credit is not available for lessons or classes taken through the Academy.

The Conservatory offers several classes for credit for UMKC students who are not majoring in music, which can be found on Pathway.
