To request a student musician or dancer, please send your request to Cheryl Adam cheryladam@umkc.edu with the following information:
Musician(s), Dancer(s) Actor(s) sought, Event description, Date, Time, Venue/Address, Remuneration, Tuned Piano on Site? We will require your contact name, phone, email, and any additional information you can give us. Please note that we need this information at least 30 days before the event.
The venue must have enough space for the performance and a temperature from 68 to 75 degrees. There must be sufficient lighting by which to read music, and musicians may require suitable chairs without arms. Musicians will bring their own music stands.
We appreciate the valuable professional experience you are granting our students, but please understand that requests that conflict with classes, rehearsals or concerts may not be possible to fulfill. The Conservatory cannot guarantee a response nor can it negotiate on the requestor's behalf. Interested students will contact and negotiate with the requestor directly.
